Over the next 2 weeks, many folks will likely be doing things with family and close friends, which is a perfect time to practice the Feldi philosophies you’ve honed through our lessons, and apply them to real life, by following your own internal rhythms. Here are a few Feldi adages to help guide you:
- Breathe
- Let comfort be your guide
- Rest before you need to
- Acknowledge and welcome asymmetry (aka "imperfection")
- Approach obstacles with curiosity
- Allow yourself to feel the wonder and awe of being alive, in a body, on a planet with gravity, that is forever and constantly supporting you
- If you are far away from a smile, you are working too hard
It's also a great time to dive into your own personal movement practice, be it dance, yoga, walking, sport or Feldenkrais.
